Apologies if this is a stupid question.

Just got Space Marine Pack 1 and there are cards I dont recognise, They have a picture of the space marines of a particular team, one above the other, with the team symbol between them: Ther's a card of this type for the two new teams plus one for each of the original six teams.

What are these used for ?

Off the top of my head, are they used to randomly determine teams?

There used to determine teams instead of using the tokens that your suppose to draw at the beginning and the other expansions will come with more cards as well
