Yes, even if you never, ever, ever, ever plan on playing Tactics, the Revised Core is still a huge bargain. Either split the box with someone else or just sell the side you don't need.

Completely agreed. I ended up buying a second Revised Core Set and it was still worth it: ~$70 for a second unit of Hammers, Death Dealers, Heavy Lasers, Heavy Flaks, and 2 more light walkers. Not sure the extra Hell Boys or Sturmpionieres will see much table-time, but still.

If you don't buy the Revised Core, as has been suggested and I agree with, your best bet would be buying a medium walker and going with a list like this:

Yeah, the Hans and the Flieger-abwehrrakaten (aka Flieger-faust) are **** near worth the Revised Core set on their own. Adding the Sturmpionieren and Lara, the one-woman walking MG nest, it's hard to beat just for the Germans!
