Aesop Rock isn´t really my kind of music. The cherry cola video is .. ummmh... interesting ... at least it´s a nice visual experience. ;-)

February/ March is usually the tim ewith only few releases, so i´m listening to the old stuff in my music collection. But there´s nothing i could tell which is really outstanding at the moment.

I have been listening to K'Naan heavily recently, some of the songs I have on repeat are:

Smile, Dusty Foot Philosopher, In the Beginning, If Rap Gets Jealous, Strugglin', and Somalia....

Sige Sigue Sputnik covering NIN's Piggy.

The Krewmen - Guy Fawkes

I love rockabilly! not to mention the song is all about Guy Fawkes.

The newest Edguy album has been front and center lately.

currently listening to "Consolers of the Lonely" by the Raconteurs

Stone Temple Pilots - Sour Girl

found a disk of Random MP3s from like 10 years ago, and just popped it in for a listen.

Snake Dance by The March Violents

Black Angels - Passover

Miles Davis - ******* Brew

I've been listening to a lot of Megadeth and Radiohead of late...nice mix...

Love me some Megadeth! Especially Rust in Peace, So Far...So Good...So What, and Youthanasia.

Good ol' Dave Mustaine.

Been giving the new Springsteen disc a lot of play lately, but its not grabbing me. I think Magic was a much stronger effort.

John Butler Trio- Live at St. Gallen

In particular you should listen to "Ocean" absolutely brilliant and one of the most expressive songs I've ever heard. And performed live.

Ive been listening to the new Mastodon and lots of old school thrash metal( Exodus,Kreator,Sacred Reich etc).

boards of canada - Into the Rainbow Vein

&

Lamb of God - Set to Fail

Mostly Falconer right now...

Excellent "medieval-metal".

I like Falconer's first album, but haven't heard any of their other stuff.

resurrection of the token thread!

mostly mogwai and boards of canada.

"owner of a lonely heart" - yes

"Sugar Mice" by Marillion

(and it figures that you did a Lazarus on your own thread :)

Always have Night Fall on Middle Earth by Blind Guardian just chillin'

Hmm well given the movies I've recently seen:

Black Sheep (Metric)

Grabage Truck Man (written by Beck I think sung by Black Lips)

Both of these from Scott Pilgrim

And saw Runaways and so can't get Dakota Fanning singing Cherry Bomb, California Paradise or the hilarious Dead End Justice out of my head.

Dude - I remember the original band. Freaking Joan Jett, Lita Ford et al - amazing group. I need to catch that movie.

I've pretty much had a continous loop of Devo's "Beautiful World," ever since Futurama used it in a teaser. Even had to download their Devo's Greatest Hits album because of it (well, and because I love Devo and 80's New Wave synth music).
