I have been playing a while now and I've tried to use the party sheet as is but it no working for me, tention meter is to unrealistic because players tension goes up and down faster than any meter could mesure correctly. The player use the talent slots but they never use the party ability and in fact most of them are just silly boardgame effects and make no sense.
So here is my attempt to discard the junk and keep the cool stuff:
There are three role prominent roles a member can actively take in a party:
Leader
The driving force behind current goal.
Related talent: Tactic
Advisor
Actively guides the party with the current task/objective
Related talent: Focus
Diplomat
Speaks on behalf of the party, takes the lead when communicating with others
Related talent: Reputation
One character can play all the roles or they can be shared between party members.
If a character takes up any party-role (through role-play) he may share a relevant Talent with other party members. If the Character has the skill Leadership trained he can share an additional Talent for every rank trained. These roles are not fixed at any time the party may choose to change roles depending on the situation.
Example: In party of 3 in social encounter the Envoy is designated Leader and Diplomat; he has Leadership trained so that would allow him to share two Tactics and one Reputation (or 2 Rep and 1 Tact). The scout character is designated as an advisors and he shares a Focus. Now all party benefits from the expertise of the diplomat, by following his lead in who to talk to and how to talk to him, but they keep a close eye on the surroundings because of the scouts wariness. When they leave the city the scout may take the up Leadership and the sword master may take over as advisor.
This was written in a hurry, the roles can be defined better and be more descriptive. Any advice suggestion is greatly appreciated.
