How good is this as a 2 player game?

By David B, in Cadwallon: City of Thieves

Hello all, apologies if this question has been asked many times already…

Generally, my fiancee and I play games as a couple, other people come and go, but most weeks we will play one or two games just the two of us. Anyway, we have a fair few games that are, allegedly 2-4 players, or whaever, but they actually turn out to be a bit rubbish with less than 3 (then there are a fair few 3+ player games that are great for just 2 with minimal house ruling)

Anyway, might I ask how good this game plays with just 2 players, and what, if any tweaking it requires.

Many thanks in advance,

David.

Hi David,

I've played this as a two-player a couple of times and I think it works pretty well. You can either play just two thief factions, which makes for a shorter game, or you can pick two factions each (effectively teaming two groups each) which can be kind of fun too.

Good qquestion that i'd like to know too. Sure this game must shine with more players but having 1 night a week of 2-player games i'd like to know if it's still fun and if it doesn't dilute de fun of this game.
