I'm clarifying the defense skill specialization further. The only example in the book is dodging boulders. Well, I'm going to make real categories for this that players can actually use. Here's what I'm proposing:
Skill specialization adds one BLACK to your opponent's attack for a specific category: (And you may train multiple categories, but NOT more than once per category). In our house rules, this bonus is "always in effect" even with multiple opponents, but only counts for one type (e.g. Parry Greenskins doesn't carry over to Dodge greenskins without second training).
* By Race greenskins, human imperials, human brettonians, human norscans, undead, demons, beasts, giants, dwarfs, elfs, dark elfs, etc.)
* Inanimate objects count as ONE category (e.g. traps, boulders, runaway cards, falling ladders, catapult missiles, ..I dunno, stuff like that is the example they give in the rulebook)
* Spells
* Other major categories are welcome for suggestion.
Let me know if I missed any categories.
Thanks,
Jay
