Hey all!
so after a 2 week holiday and with that PLENTY of time pondering about new house rules and stuff to do in my campaigns i came across a thought that i had a few months ago together with the player of our flagellant:
we want her to be able to show her devotion to sigmar through also being able to do minor blessings.
so we came up with this idea, which has probably already been posted by someone:
in an ancient library she found a scroll which detailed the process of an initiate learning the advanced skill of invocation. to gain the talent of invocation she has to speak a self-written prayer to sigmar every night until she sees an omen that he has seen her. this might take about a month of game time i would say. then she will have aquired invocation and would be able to do blessing actions.
she will gain favour not rhough currying, since she did not find a scroll that explained that. so the only way she can gain it will be through being religious and devoted to sigmar. so when she speaks her prayer at night she might get FEL favour. anytime she does something that would appeal to sigmar as a good deed she might get 1 favour.
so she will never be able to invoke more than 1 or 2 blessings a day, but she will have the possibility to gather favour and maybe save it for when she really needs sigmars help.
i'm even thinking that i might grant her the option to turn 3 or 4 favour into 1 sigmar's comet on a dice pool result, to make sigmar's help visible and he has seen her zealous/devoted behaviour.
play testing will start this weekend
any suggestions? is it too much power for a flagellant?
