Are there different and unique cards in the CCG vs the LCG?

By Morgra, in A Game of Thrones LCG

Hi --

I am a collector, and player, and I am curious about the CCG element of the game of thrones card series.

I presume the LCG contains all of the cards in the CCG with new cards added. Any clarification would help.

Thanks guys.

There are SOME cards from the CCG in the LCG, but it's a small fraction of the total that were released in the CCG. The LCG has MANY cards that were never available in the LCG.

The early CCG releases don't even look like the LCG. The later CCG Releases (Iron Throne, Five KIngs, House of Thorns, House of Talons) are very similar in look, with black borders on the cards instead of white.

Check out a site like AOGTCards.org for a complete listing of cards and images of CCG and LCG.

Are CCG cards legal in LCG games?

No.

Are there any quality websites that sell complete sets of CCG? I'm not finding much on ebay.

No.

Actually this is incorrect. CCG cards ARE legal if there is an identical LCG (same EXACT text) card available.

Check the Trade page here.

I have bought cards from: dacardworld.com, cccarmory.com, and eaglecard.org
