A keep for my players

By RARodger, in WFRP Gamemasters

My almost not happening campaign is almost going to happen, so I feel more justified in wasting time on my latest project… a Google Sketchup model of the keep they have to reclaim and repair.

I share it because I crave validation.

Here's the exterior… you can tell it's Warhammer 'cause it has spikes.

And an interior view from the great hall. That's our Ogre Maneater apparently routing the squatting orcs.

Thats pretty cool.

nice artwork! more pictures of the interiro please ;-)

Well, since you ask…

The walkway around the great hall:

And from the other direction:

The Lord's bedroom:

The Bower, which I've now learned is the Lady's bedroom or sitting room (with a stand-in for our Celestial Wizard):

And then the plan views, starting from the roof and going down. Sadly, the color scheme makes it hard to make it all out. I may have to do something about that.

I want to put in a few more details… the hearth in the great hall and kitchen, an altar in the Sigmarite chapel, and something in the chapel to Morr that leads down to the crypt. I've spent way too much time on this, though.

very nice, i might add these to my current running adventure eventually, i might need a keep anyways!

thx

Feel free!

If you are interested in fleshing out your keep with some features, upkeep costs and servants, this ancient AD&D2ED game master guide might provide some usable ideas:

I've seen this book around on the amazon marketplace and ebay for a little as 4$, so it's not that big of an investment.

Here's the table of contents:

Interesting. Thanks for the suggestion.
