"Favored Son" Solo Mode questions

By Tristelune, in Deathwatch Rules Questions

Hi,

Sorry if these questions have already been answered, but my reseach didn't bring me any satisfying answers.

"Favored Son", the Solo Mode for Ultramarines. Rites of Battle explains that it is a passive Solo Mode, thus being available at all time even when the Ultramarine is in Squad Mode.

Favored Son allows the Ultramarine to re-roll failed Sociability rolls. Does it includes skills using Sociability such as Command, Charism, ect? Or only raw Soaciability rolls?

If it does include skills, i assume i am correct saying that an Ultramarine can reroll his Command test when he wishes to activate a Squad Mode, am i not?

Also, can an Ultramarine team leader reroll Command test to avoid losing Cohesion when one of the team members receives 10+ wounds (assuming the criteria for losing Cohesion are met)? In other words, does the Ultramarine benefit for a free reroll on all (or most) of his Command (or Charism, etc.) checks even when he is in Squad Mode?

Thank you for your insight.

I would think that if the roll is based on Fellowship, he gets to reroll it, under any circumstance.

Oh, yes, my bad: in my message, please replace "Sociability" by "Fellowship". I use french version of the game, and i didn't translate correctly. My appologies.

Like DJSunhammer i say that any roll with Fel for base can be re-roll by the player, even command to prevent cohesion damage.
