Hello all,
Sadly, I still do not have my copy of Hero's Call (I am sure the guy from the shop kept it for himself, I saw it in his eyes!). Nonetheless, after many posts in the Hero's call spoiler thread, I got an idea of how the elite careers are, therefore I dared to produce some of them for elves. The whole pack of High Elves can be dowloaded here .
To create the elite-ending careers for elves I followed two main ideas.
1) I don't want all my combat oriented players end up in the champion career. Since I have 8 players in the same party, the chances that this happens are big. For this, I diversified a little bit the elite-ending combat careers. A part from the official Champion career, I made the Bladelord as an elite ending for Sword Master path, the Shadow Walker as an elite ending for Shadow Warrior, Assassin etc.., and the Grandmaster (for humans) and the Dragon Rider (for elfs) as a elite ending for Knights. For Dwarfs, I made the Demon Slayer .
2) Not all the elite careers have an elf counterpart, like the Magistrate or the Vampire Hunter. To cover the elite ending of the social path, I created an elite career called High Elf Prince.
A part from these, I included also a two new basic careers, the Squire and the Cartographer, and two personalized careers with an elf portrait, the Hunter and the Scout. I included another advanced career in the White Lion path, the White Lion Guard, but no elite one, in my opinion the Champion career fits well for the White Lions.
Finally, I modified the Explorer career skill which it was a bit over the top.
I want to make clear, that I had no time to test the champion-like career skills (sorry for that). To create them I based myself in the champion idea, but it may be that they are too powerfull. If any of you have an opinion about it, comments and criticisms are very well welcome.
That is how one of the careers looks like
