Pig, Witch and Lover - experiences?

By Emirikol, in WFRP Gamemasters

I've signed up to run The Pig, the Witch, and her Lover at an upcoming convention. The scenario was a wfrp2e "free rpg day" release.

If you've run or played it, I'd like to hear your experiences.

Thanks,

None, but would love access to a copy. The free stuff is often not made available later etc.

This was part of the free rpg day a while back. There may still be copies around.

I have a digital copy somewhere, have a feeling its on my other hard drive though. If its legal i can put it on drop box or scribd and post a link? But I would like to make sure i am not infringing copyright laws by doing so.

Ran this for the 2nd time last night. It's an enjoyable scenario with lots of potential for GM embellishment and can be placed anywhere (in our case, Nordland).

SPOILERS

I added mutant piglets and giant parasites.

I used the pre-gens as NPCs.

PC Party for this scenario:

* Human Navigator

* HIgh Elf Mystic

* Halfling Smuggla'

* Dwarf Pit Fighter (the player turned down the option to play an ogre)

The dynamic of the races should make for an interesting campaign prior to The Enemy Within. Plus, I made all corruption thresholds 5+ability instead of the invincible demihumans as originally presented.

Next on to False Pretenses..with some depth improvement in the wood elf encounters.

I just ran this one for my kids. They really seemed to get it.

I modified it to be kid friendly:

* Otto's prized pig ate Konrad (and of course he was still alive inside), and Otto was going to blame Ilsa and rather than being burned at the stake, she was going to be jailed forever in a tower.

* Otto was holding the children hostage and was an imposter just getting free money from the townsfolk. (My kids decided to spy on Otto).

This is my 7th running of this scenario and it never ceases to amaze me with its possibilities.

I wonder who even wrote it? There is no credited author in it.
