Reactive Fire Question

By Dakkon426, in Dust Tactics Rules Discussion

Is it allowable to make a reactive fire roll on a unit that is successfully performing reactive fire?
Example: Player 1 move a squad of recon grenadiers and player 2 uses his wildfire to Reactive fire on the Recon Grenadiers. Player 2 is successful in his Roll and Wildfire Activates. Player 1 has a Heinrich that has not been activate with LOS to player 2's Wildfire.

Can Player 1 Perform a Reactive Fire in response to Player 2's Reactive fire?

Reactive fire happens always after an action of a unit that has another action to take, and rolling for reactive fire isn't really an action, so no, this would not be allowed.

Absolutely not.

If not for the obvious reasons, then at the very least for the fact that Reactive Fire is only triggered by movement, and a unit performing reactive fire is not moving.

Thanks for the replies I reread the Reactive fire rules and they are completely different then I remembered.
