If a squad is in the same square as an anti-tank trap can an enemy squad (using normal weapons not close range or artillery) attack it? Or is LOS blocked?
thanks in advance .. (sorry for the basicness of the question)

LOS is not blocked.
Don't forget to roll for cover....
All Squads mentioned would lack LOS, based on Revised Ruleset Page 9, bottom right corner.

Anti-tank traps don't block LOS when you are targeting a Squad in the square that has the Anti-tank trap, which is the question, that was asked. Anti-tank traps block squad to squad when the LOS goes through the square with the Anti-tank trap. If you want to see an example, look at page 13 right above Attacking Cover elements.

Thanks for the correction Dcal
After viewing it all a fifth time I agree. Sadly, and as a sidenote, I find it pretty unintuitive , but I guess there is some way to remember it all to the next time.
Think of units in the tank trap as forming up in cover at the edges of the terrain to be able to fire out of the area. A single tank trap represents several 'teeth,' but are easier to deal with as single pieces.
The tank trap is dense enough you can't see past all of the partial walls they create, but you can see infantry hiding amongst them, albeit with heavy cover modifiers.
It isn't much stranger than thinking of firing into or through a section of forest with a lot of brush at the perimeter; you can see troops lining up at the edge of the forest, but the brush precludes seeing anything further in, or on the far side of the block of forest. The tank traps are simply a man made obstruction.

Plus, with standard H(igh) E(xplosive), having your shells impacting on the tank traps where the infantry is taking cover isn't necessarily a bad thing, assuming a square full of traps.
