Others are welcome to jump in with their thoughts/plans for the material on pages 10 to 14 of "Lure of Power, Nobility in the Empire".
I like the additional information about the nobles though would have appreciated a bit more, can live with that.
Graf Tobias Aschaffenberg is the one I don't think I will use, likely taking his role and persona and making him Tobias von Jungfreud and part of the family of Graf Sigismund von Jungfreud, otherwise keeping him much the same. Strengthening the von Jungfreud holdings and role in area makes sense to me as the Graf Sigismund should be an important guy. I didn't like "suddenly discovering Lord Rickard has a more senior family member he's accountable to" as it didn't fit well with my use of him in my campaign. Relatives are fine but ones that overshadow him as a candidate in Ubersreik's political games no.
Graustadt (grey city) isn't placed by the mention it gets Some googling suggests it existed in older warhammer (maybe WFB). Anyone have any ideas? It's not on Glitzman's wonderful map (as far as I can see looking in the region of Grey Mountains, Ubersreik).
Victor von Walfen , Archduke of the Upper Teufel is an interesting addition - in his castle "somewhere west of Stromdorf". This would likely be on the Teufel or overlooking it at least, between Ubersreik and Stromdorf - I would put it on the western bank (with Reikwald behind it). The page 12 diagram indicates he is not related by blood to any of the other major players. This can be explained considering the text with the idea that the family has been marrying "up" into Altdorf and other provinces' nobility not "down" into local nobility.
Heinrich von Bruner , Baron of Graustadt (there it is is again!), Magistrate of Ubersreik doesn't have his relationship to Lord Heissman von Bruner spelled out given that in Edge of Night Heismann is stated to be head of the family. He sounds more important than Heismann then again Heissman has the background of breaking up chaos cults etc. (events before Eye for an Eye ). Heinrich is also stated to be a member of the Ubersreik town council in Lure of Power, but is not listed on the town council in Edge of Night on page 18, and if he was more important than Heissman logically he would have been the one invitated to the Ball.
One connection to make is that Lure of Power says he's an imperial appointed official in charge of justice and Edge of Night says an unnamed imperial judge levying tarrifs on goods down the Teufel triggered the escalataion of Auerswald incident (EoN page 12). Heinrich could have been the judge and this fits with the von Jungfreud enmity in LoP.
Other thoughts, notes on canon or other sources about any of the forgoing?
