Assault question - can a squad assault adjacent hex without movement?

By Myles2, in Tide of Iron

The rules speak to Assault after movement - does that mean you can't assault if you moved adjacent the previous turn or if the enemy unit moved adjacent to you?

Does getting out of an entrenchment count as movement if already adjacent to the target hex?

Thank for any into you can provide.

Myles

If your active squad is already adjacent to the target hex, you can assault without movement.

That's also how we've always played it. However, note that moving out of an entrenchment may trigger enemy op-fire while being in the (adjacent) hex itself, would not!
