Assist - shouldn't there be "more" if you've got a higher powered skill?

For instance, the wizard is trying to talk his way into another wizard's home.

If the charlatan, with guile twice trained and a fel of 5 was helping, wouldn't he contribute more than the commoner with a fel of 2 and untrained guile?

He does, normally, if your trained in a skill you add two fortune when you assist.

You could make him roll it, and a good success adds an expertise, or even make him do the perform a stunt action.
