Good god, how the hell do you upload pictures to these **** forums?!? (Please FFG get some decent forum software - see www.civfanatics.com for an example)

In this way here:

You can do this quite easily (but in a way absolutely no intuitive)

1) on your photobucket pages, there is a "direct link" button with a different url. It starts always with an "i". Click on it, it will be authomatically copied

2) when posting a message, click on the "insert image window". then paste the URL you copied. Then click with your mouse on the "preview" white box on the right

3) if you write under "width" 600, you're sure the image fits perfectly the message window when published!

do images have to be online already? how do players upload images of their repaints?
