Do units block line of sight?

did not find that in the official rules, but i noticed that you can move thru enemy figures and cog's, so i think that units do NOT block line of sight when attacking

This is how we played it, Units do not block LOS.

Although they don't seem to say it as a defined rule there are lots of references to the black walls being the only thing that blocks LOS and that line of sight is drawn between 2 areas, either from the cover arrows and or the edge of areas dependant on the cover status of a figure, and not from cog to locust or visa versa

Figures have
LOS (line-of-sight) to each other if the player can draw a
straight line from one figure’s area to the other figure’s
area without tracing through a black wall. Players can use
the line-of-sight ruler to confirm LOS.

This. Only walls block LOS.

A rule we missed the first time is that you can shoot past your weapons listed range and give the target +1 defensive die per area. So LOS is important and typically easy to have.
