Liber Fanatica 8 Adventure Wanted - Questions

By zwobot, in WFRP Gamemasters

Tanks to all for this great product, Liber fanatica is the best fanware out there! <Spoilers>

The adventure Wanted sounds great and i want to implement it in my on going campaign, my heroes have made some enemies and i wanted to direct them to Marienburg anyway, so this is perfect! Now my questions, anyway the authors, Sean Connors and Lauri Maijala, could hint what is the content of the last envelope the group gets delivered to the town house? And what did happen on page 85, the content of the text box is the same as in the paragraph under it?

Would love an answer, and rock on!

It's great to hear you're liking it!

Answer to the question about p.85: no information is missing - there is merely an unnecessary repetition of the text under the textbox due to a condition called Layout Blindness -it occurs when longs days are spent trying to persuade the text to go where intended...

As to the contents of the envelope, I'll let Lauri or Sean answer that one.

Cheers,

LF8 Producer

SPOILERS!!

It is absolute fantastic to hear comments (and good feedback) about Wanted. It is the main reason we do these kind of things.

As for the letter I have to kind of let you down. The second part is pretty much WIP and giving that kind of information would restrain us from changing it afterwards. As always you can decide the content of the letter by yourself in a way that suits you.

I could however hint that the written scenario assumes that one of the characters is portraying as Facilius and therefore the powers behind him would assume that he has succeeded in his mission.

Hope that helps at least a bit!

All additional questions are more than welcome.

Thanks Doc_C (the rest of your name is a blur and i seem not to be able to concentrate reading it)

Will use the same encription method as with the other letter and give the group or the imposter another assignment in a village near Altdorf. So they will be on their way to Middenheim. In my campaign i mix a lot of written adventures in a big blender, so the heroes played Shadows over Übersreik and now some Death on the Teufel. For my players i translated the letter and the cards to german and will place the town house in Stromdorf, cause Übersreik is not anymore. I really like the free form of the adventure Wanted! and see forward to play it with my group, those sheets are great.

I gather you mean "the investigation sheet"? Could you please be specific why did you like it (and/or the other elements of Wanted)? As I'm quite sure we wish to go into the direction gamers liked the feedback comes in handy.

Bump!

As I'm currently writing the second part to the campaign I'd like to know how many of you have read/GMed the Wanted? I've been unable to access your comments about it and would really like to hear from all of you.

How did you like the structure?

How did you like the feeling and theme?

If you have GMed it who did it go?

What are you expecting from the next adventure?

And so on.

I think I could be able to get the "letter" that arrived to the characters at the end of the Wanted published as a separate handout before the actual release of LF9 if it could bribe you to answer. ;)
