Any ideas how to represent a Strigoi vampire in WFRP 3? (e.g., take base vampire from creature guide and xxx). The base vampire seems more von Catstine or Lahmia etc.

The story use is that a particular Strigany band is oe of those marked as its "favoured prey" and when they get into trouble it attacks those who are aiming to annihilate it. Not because they call for it, ask it etc., they don't, but they cannot dispute it and are fatalistic about facing it (they're the sheep that wolf guards and preys on). There's not lots of Strigany-background but I think that works. Comments on that idea welcome too.

Ah, I had that but forgot it had a Strigoi in it.

So a tougher Gristlegore? How about still using the undead card with vampire blood pool, and "dead calm" (LF VII predates Creature Vault, no?)

We didn't have the vault at that time, so we went with what we had. I think I'd add a lot more diversity of abilities depending on what you need 'against' your group. The Omens of war has a lot of cool combat ones, which are probably better for the 'bestial' strigoi.
