We had some questions concerning Blood Apes and Berserk. We reviewed the latest FAQ, and then reviewed the GLOAQ thread (Gathered List of Answered Questions).

When using the Leap attack, are Blood Apes affected by Aura? Also, are they affected by abilities such as Alertness and Guard orders, which can be triggered by a figure moving next to the Hero with the ability? No, no, and no.

Yes, yes, and yes.

Question: Which is it?

Leap is a complex and poorly-written ability, and they've changed their rulings on it several times. The latest rulings are in the official FAQ, and are still not 100% clear.
