It has in the FAQ that a squad that is fired upon by artillary doesn't recieve cover. The revised rules don't mention that. Since the revised rules came out after the FAQ does that mean that it has changed back to allowing cover. The only weapons that are in the revised rules are flamethrowers, grenade launchers and UGL's.

It was certainly an oversight for them not to mention in the Revised Rulebook that artillery ignores cover. But since the FAQ is "kept up-to-date" we must assume that its rulings are above anything else. If the revised book said that artillery IS affected by cover, that would be another case, but since it doesn't say anything on the matter, we must assume that the FAQ is the best source for this particular issue.

What I want is an updated stance on using artillery weapons from or into buidings.

thats what I thought abiut it also ,but i felt better about it if I asked.

The FAQ is for the revised rulebook. e.i. Burst Weapons are in the FAQ and burst weapons are only in the revised rulebook. I think it was just an early release so people would stop asking as much rule questions as they were.
