Jagluther and its stats

By player359820, in Dust Tactics Rules Discussion

I was reading the basic rules again, and noticed an example in them which uses the Jagluther as a target. This is the top paragraph, right hand colun, page 20 of the Dust Tactics Rule book. It states:

"The Hot Dogs Napalm Thrower targets a Jagdluther (that is an Axis <armor> 5 with a <health> of 6)."

Now the Jagdluther card gives it the stats of <armor> 6 and <health> 8. I think that the stats used in the example are better balanced than the stats printed on the card. Has anyone else noticed this and used the lower stats?

Nope, not noticed it and find the printed card works well.

But 50 points? or higher? I think that the card is incorrect, and the rules explanation is correct. If this is the case, then it would have a point cost of maybe 44-46?

As its 10pts on the card I played it at that, but do need to play it in other scenarios as well. I used it in a scenario I devised for conventions and was one of the objects to be destroyed, which it was 50% of the time. But to be honest, I don't think I'd select it in a points match at 10/100pts. Here's a question for you, pick a number for the points then ask youreself a question; will I always pick this? If yes, up the points and ask again, keep asking until your answer is don't know. Up the points again and repeat till you say no. Now at these two points should give you the range of points it should be worth. I'm thinking od somewhere between 70-90pts. Now playtest it. Any others want to try this?
