Compatibility with older Descent?

Plus, all of the heroes and monsters will be usable in second edition. And it looks like they are unique from what is in the base set, giving you a sort of expansion right off the bat.

I agree completely. This is the only reason we don't bring the game out more. The preview alludes to them addressing this issue, so hopefully it will happen.
