I would concur with all of those
Revised Core Rulebook
Yeah. I see nothing wrong with the example or reasoning behind it.
yea nothing wrong with it. Just both sides would get a Hard Cover if they both were Soldiers.
Greetings community,
Kinda new. Some questions within repeated from other threads but then again I believe it was before the revised rules. And been reading several post and forgot if these were discussed already on this thread. Hypothetical questions anyway.
How would a hero's damage resilience work when attached to a unit without damage resilience get attacked and hit?
Can assault (hero), and the fast skill (fast troop) trigger at the same time?
Would a hero attached to a unit with the agile skill benefit from agile?
What would be the recommended AP for a 9x9 tile (i read 200AP somewhere but some players like to play higher pointages) and 12x12 tile game? (Tournament wise, casually, etc)
Is there a rule out stating if it is legal to field identical heroes in a match? (tournament wise, friendly, most accepted)
Is it compulsory to field a hero in an army? (tournament wise, friendly, most accepted)
Hi, if you go to the support link you can download the rules and the torney rules, all these questions are answered in there,
Thanks, will go look for it. Just got the game two days ago and was kinda surprised with the new revised rules and such.
Doesn't really answer any of my questions. I'll take it this is because the revised rules are new...
"How would a hero's damage resilience work when attached to a unit without damage resilience get attacked and hit?"
- Good question, since the hero can soak the unit's damage s long as he's alive, his damage resilance should apply to any attack the group suffers.
"Can assault (hero), and the fast skill (fast troop) trigger at the same time?"
- Don't see why not. The group's Move rating would be doubled, and they could move an extra square on top of that.
"Would a hero attached to a unit with the agile skill benefit from agile?"
- Yes. Unless otherwise stated, the hero always shares the squad's abilities.
"Is there a rule out stating if it is legal to field identical heroes in a match? (tournament wise, friendly, most accepted)"
- Yes, you can never have two identical heroes on the board.
"Is it compulsory to field a hero in an army? (tournament wise, friendly, most accepted)"
No. Not that I know of.

Yeah, the idea of the power is made very clear by the part of the text in bold. It's a leech/vampire thing, you inflict wounds to cure your wounds. But the example makes a right mess of it all. In the first combat, when TotenMeister decimated an ally squad and suffered 3 wounds, why can't she then heal as many wounds as she inflicted once the combat is over? Why does she have to wait until another squad attacks her and she survives? The example doesn't even mention her inflicting or taking any wounds in this second combat, so why is it of any relevance?
Humm... unless the key here is all these close combats they mention. I'm guessing TotenMeister only has C range attacks. The reson she doesn't recover wounds after the first combat is that, since C is simultaneous, she didn't have any wounds at the time she injured the enemy. So on the second attack, with her now being injured, she'll recover one wound for every wound she inflicts. Still, they don't really mention that she wounds the enemy on the 2nd combat.... However, the rules do say "He recovers health after all weapon lines are resolved." so in the 1st combat, she would already be injured after all weapon lines are resolved, so shouldn't she heal?
I'm thinking I better just stay away from this figure....
Sorry to bring up te winersaussage issue again, but I think it´s spot on right there at the end.
In fact, rules clarify, in the first example she doesnt heal the damage received because, being C combat, it all happens at the same time! Had she been injured from afar befor intering in C combat, the she heal up.
The reason why the example states that al lines must be resolved before healing is simply so she cannot loose and recover and loose life again on the same combat resolution
Yeah, but still. If the healing takes place after all weapons lines are done (including C weapons), then why doesn't she heal at the end of the first combat? I think maybe they forgot to say that she must inflict the damage AFTER being injured, in order to heal at the end of the combat. When you think about it like that it makes quite a lot of sense. If she's in perfect health and kills someone, she won't generate a bank of backup health for when she eventually gets injured. She must be injured first, then injure someone in order to recover. She if during an attack she takes 2 rifle shots, then is engaged in C combat and takes 1 more wound, but inflicts 3 wounds, at the end of the combat she'll be able to recover from those 2 rifle shots, but not from the stabbing.
And I'd guess the wounds she inflicts must come from her own personal attacks, not those of the squad she is with.

in Rcore Example - no wounds pririor to firs Attack so nothing to regenerate. CC is simultaneous so you cannot use scored hits to regenerate because there are not wounds to regenerate (basicly Wounds in CC are inflicted at the end of round so after you can use serum). And finally you regenerate only during combat. In next fight you have this 3 wounds to regenerate so you can use hits that you get in this CC to regenerate them.Or in different words you regenerate immediately after you scored hit yo cannot save your hits till end of round or next weapon line... Its slightly unclear agree
And I'd guess the wounds she inflicts must come from her own personal attacks, not those of the squad she i.,s with - No! look at hero and abilities - Hero shares Winder skill with unit that he/she joins.
Always Look for simplest solution :>
