Love, love, love the color scheme and theme, but I am not too hot on the alt. heads. They look...out of place, for some reason.

Alrighty, Sturmpioneers and the last recon squad done. Now just need one more hans/herman/heinrich to get to 303 points. Should i add anything or leave it at 300?

I'm also doing an Italian campain paint scheme, but my walker camo is a harder edged tri color with a redder shade of dark brown, more clay like, and the pattern is frustratingly intricate!!

I'm in awe of your infantry! mine are much more simple! I dont have the eyes or the hands to do that level of camo on the troops!

Thanks Major, I just recently did a reddish brown i was happy with on a sd kfz 234/1. The Italian Tele mimico (?) is a tough one to pull off, though of doing it myself but feared it too much. Looking forward to seeing your work!

when the next bot is done ill have 303. not sure if i should make it larger. will have to see what DW plays at.

Thanks for all the feedback. Trying to figure out whats next. I'll do the heavies when they come out, in the meanwhile I'm thinking objective markers and gebirgsjager (the mountain troops were often deployed in gliders as follow on forces for the FJ, like at Crete). The only problem with the mountain troops is that I'd want to do M43 field caps and need a source of ten.

oh-oh-oh found heads, packs, picks and even a coupl eof weapon swaps. next couple weeks the build/paint is on!

oh, bits raided and ten gebirgsjager built. WIPs, will paint over next two weeks.

I've decided to add two squads of Gebirgstruppen to the FJ. They were often flown in as follow on forces (like at crete) and so I think fit the theme. They aren't painted up in mediterainian uniforms as i see them being an emergency reenforcment coming in from the balkans.

Great! Can I ask where you find the metal bits?

The heads are BAM/Warlord (from the plastic multipart german kit) and Artizan (metal, late war in great coats, just have to clip the heads off), the packs are from Secret Weapon, and the weapons are from AE-WW II. oh and the picks are BAM too.
