House Rules:
Nephilim
- * Nephilim cost their experience penalty * 10 DP instead of losing XP every session. Example to play a Sylvain Nephilim will cost 40dp. The DP doesn't fall under any category in terms of DP limitations
LP
- * LP multiple You gain your con modifier as bonus LP instead of the con score (always assumed to be at least +5 bonus).
- Will use the GM toolkit rules for between life and death
Skills
- Core Exxet bonus skills. Pretty much you get 2 natural bonuses, 1 for a physical skill and 1 for a mental skill. You also get 5 +10 bonuses to 5 different skills (Freelancers get this twice).
- * New skill: Sense Motive. Falls under Social and uses perception. Used to detect false hoods.
- Using the Gaia new skills. Streewise in addition to its normal affects works a bit like bardic knowledge from D&D [Just knowing random stories and finding local rumours)
- * I tend to use Style for random effects at times. For example I had a player once throw a fireball at a bunch of soldiers killing half of them. The player didn't have intimidate so had him roll style and used it in place of intimidation. Also Style is always considered trained.
Magic
- Zeon recovery multiple: It costs half the DP as MA multiple. It works like MA multiple but for recovery only
- Can buy magic levels. For every 5dp spent you get 5 to a magic level in 1 path
- If you spend half a day meditating you recovery your normal zeon regeneration + your willpower modifier (always assumed to be at least +5). If you spend the entire day meditating you regain a bonus of double your willpower modifier
- using GM toolkit for limits on path level at the start. Medium supernatural level.
Combat
- * Shooting/projecting into combat is a -30 penalty. Depending on the LOS defender might get a cover bonus. If the defender would get a counter attack you risk hitting the other person in combat (they make a defense roll against your attack roll to see if you hit them instead).
New advantages
- Familiar: 2CP and you start with a familiar of your level (can be taken without The Gift).
- * Weapon Fu: 2CP You can fully use a weapon with your chosen form of martial arts. See Dominus Exxet pg 43 for list of supported weapons

Exactly. You get 5 +10 bonuses to put in 5 different skills. A freelancer gets that twice (so can put +10 in 10 different skills or +20 in 5 or some combination).
Can paste characters here. Thinking of using Skype. Anyone have a suggestion on a way to do maps and dice rolls though? Can always honour system the rolls, but only way I can think of getting maps to work would be using Vassal which would be a tad ugly for RPG maps.

Yeap. It makes life soooo much better for trying to get secondary skills (especially for hybrid classes).
Well i am sure there is an online system we could use for the dice rolls. Oh and i hate to be a pest, but your rule on the Nephilim. I am planning on making a Daimah, what class i may go is still up in the air, so if i do i start off with 20 DP less available before i spend them.

Success! My character is now created and typed out in word. I still have to type up a background, but that's the easy part since I'm basing it off an existing character. Should I just hang on to it until Sunday?

As for the rest, I believe that the 5X(+10) bonuses you get on Core Exxet are FIXED (meaning you get them each level, but always on the same secondaries...they're simly subjects where you have natural learning) while the Freelancer is free to change the 5 abilities he gives his bonuses to each time, so he has far greater flexibility! Of course, the master can rule the think as he prefers (and has plenty of time to decide it).
Purebloods from other races are allowed?

I just looked again at a previous post from wizuriel and understood you'll start playing on sundays at 20.00-22.00. From a previous post I also noticed that EST should probably be somewhat like Greenwitch-5, meaning 20.00-22.00 in your area are about 02.00-04.00 in my area. At that time I'd better be sleeping due to work on monday morning.
Hence I have to drop this one. I guess playing with non-European players online is really almost impossible, due to timezone.

Well looks like I wont be able to play this weekend. My anima group irl is dropping by for the weekend, we dont get to play a lot so were cramming a weekend full of anima into the schedule. I've decided on a psychic for sure now i just need to sit down and build him.
It's okay, I don't imagine everyone is going to have characters ready for this Sunday anyways. Also still need to find a way to do maps and convert stuff over to Anima without tpking the party

Elric of Melniboné: One of the biggest disadvantages to trying to fan translate the book is at times its really hard to get the intention of the rule. If I recall correctly at one point they give an example of how a player using the 5 bonuses and both naturals in 1 skill can easily reach the 100 cap. At another point they say the 5 bonuses need to be used on different skills. I don't think it has to be used on the same skills when you level but could be wrong about that. Going try to hunt through the translations again
