I'm really new to the game, having only played around 15 hours so far. My question is about the Rank 1 purchases you can make as a Librarian: There is a purchase named "Psychic Power (x2)", which I'm not certain how it actually works. Normally I'd just assume it means you get twice the amount of the description (Like say, Sound Constitutionx2), but when it comes to Psychic Powers... The closest I can think of is that you can buy 2 powers as long as they cost the same, as it only appears in the Rank 1 purchases, and in all the others it merely says "Psychic Power". Am I correct in assuming this?

It only means that you can buy one psychic power up to two times for this rank. The only restrictions are that you can pay the xp cost for the psy power and any restrictions the psy power itself may have (eg, Astrotelepathy requiring some form of telepathy).

The same applies for Sound Constitution (x2) btw, you can take it twice for one wound each, paying the cost twice. You don't get two wounds for one purchase.
