By Custodes, in Dark Heresy

Hi, first nice book!!

My question is:

1. where can i found more infos about the Grey Knights Paladins!

2. what requiredment I need too become a Paladin (Grey Knight rank. ect..)?

3. what advances I get as Paladin??

4. too make an Grey Knight Apothecaries can I use the DW Advances and is he also Psyker lvl2 like all Grey Knights??

5. at what Grey Knight Rank He is an Justicar, Brother-Captain, Grand Master??

6. whats about the Grey Knight Dreadnoughts?? Can I use the same rules as in DW and can he use his Psyker abilities as Dreadnought, when not Why??

7. Grey Knights Chaplains are there some??

regads!!

only one i can comment on

7 canon wise yes, game wise don`t know but wouldn`t know why not

Best place to get the "fluff" on Grey Knights would be the TT Codex: Grey Knights 5th Edition. It has tons of info in. As for more Daemon Hunter's related stuff I can't help sorry.

From an RP perspective, being a Paladin, Justicar, Brother-Captain or Grand-Master are essentially background elements - there are no XP requirements for being a character of that type; they'd instead be things achieved in-character in recognition of your accomplishments. At a pinch, I might suggest the Watch-Captain advanced speciality for Brother-Captains and Grand Masters, though it might not be a perfect fit.

Essentially, yes; use the normal advances from the Grey Knights Career Advances, Grey Knights Characteristic Advances and Grey Knights Psychic Training, but use the Deathwatch Apothecary advance tables (for special abilities, skills and talents; ignore the characteristic advances, as you're already using the Grey Knights ones) instead of one of the other Specialisations. It's the same with selecting Librarian or Techmarine.

If your GM allows it, then I personally see no issue with it.

Not that I'm aware of.

Paladins were a totally new creation for the recent Codex Grey Knights the only information on them exists within that bloody stupid book

The Daemon Hunter release was pushed in order to coincide with the release of the TT Codex, because they would reflect one another in regards to the fluff and such for Grey Knights.

My thought was that one could use (if needed, lightly modify) the First Company Veteran advance from Deathwatch: Rites of Battle expansion and use that for a Paladin advance.
