Do space marines start with Dodge trained, or not?

By Kugruk, in Deathwatch Rules Questions

I've been trying to figure out if Space Marines actually start with Dodge trained or not. It's listed as one of the trained starting skills, but it is not marked on the provided character sheet. Usually, I would just mark this as a mistake on the character sheet, but it is also available for purchase from the Rank 1 General Space Marine advances. It doesn't make a lot of sense for them to offer it as an advance if you are just giving it for starting a space marine. Has this been corrected somewhere? What is actually the correct answer?

It is trained, as per the statement on what skills the marine starts as being trained in (p. 36 I think... its the same page that lists talents, traits, and the effects of all the implants).

Its a typo on the character sheet.

It is listed as an advance with an xp cost for "future proofing." Sometimes, advanced background packages and the like may alter the exact set of skills a marine starts with, and dodge is listed to not totally ruin the character.

Cool. I've only very recently started DMing for a group, and it felt odd to have them test on 20ish agility. I could sort of understand it, as their parry is not affected, and space marines are tough sons of ******* anyway. I just thought the inconsistency was odd.

Space Marines are also trained in Intimidate, which isn't marked on the character sheet either.

Best to use the final version in the character sheet thread that is in my signature.
