I have a few questions, and I figured it would be easier to consolidate them into one thread.
1) When attacking a Horde in melee, do you generate +1 hit for every two DoS (in addition to the base hit for passing the WS test), or just 1 hit for every 2 DoW?
Example: SM Bob attacks a Horde of gaunts. His WS is 50. Bob attacks, rolling a 30. Does he generate one hit or two?
2) Regarding multiple attacks: if a character has a pistol, ccw, and Swift Attack, he may attack up to three times (2 for SA, 1 with his pistol). If he only attacks with his ccw (using SA), then he strikes with no penalty to WS for either of his attacks. However, if he opts to also fire his pistol (for a total of three attacks), he suffers a -10 on all three attacks, correct? (This is assuming he has Ambidextrous and the Two-Weapon Fighter (Ballistic & Melee) talents.)
3) In MoZ, pg. 139, Detailed Method, in the Detailed Method section, it says that when calculating Attack Value, "add +1 for every attack beyond the first (additional weapons & twin-linked weapons count as additional attacks). The example given is for a Horde of guardsmen, and their bonus attacks are calculated based on their ranged weapons (+1 A for every 10 Magnitude). But what about a melee Horde, such as Hormagaunts? Do you calculate their bonus attacks based solely on their melee capabilities (+2 attacks because of Swift Attack, regardless of Magnitude)?
My thanks in advance.
