Just picked up the game, its quite interesting. However, I have a rules question already..... well several but I'll keep it short and only bring one at a time
Do you only exhaust the attachment itself? Or does the character that you attach "Steward of Gondor" become the steward of Gondor and therefor have to be exhausted. I was wondering because of the title trait. I've just been exhausting the attachment only.
Any clues whould be great.

Yes you only exhauste the attachment.For any other question you have there is a FAQ thread.
As a general rule, whenever a card refers to its own name it means just the card itself.
