I'm doing a demo for a work mate on Wednesday and I was able to pick up two more boxes this afternoon, so Bauhaus is added as an army option for him.

Here is my tentative 4/4/4/ list; feedback is appreciated.

Gold:

I'm a little iffy about Noble Sacrafice for a small game; what do you think? He is a seasoned gamer, however,

I'd say it's a nice, and well rounded list... I agree to say "Noble sacrifice" is not so hot... It could be useful to keep your Bear Kapitan alive, but it seems to me another silver order token could be better... Only the Bear Kapitan and the VR Kapitan could use it, and I don't think you'd want to sacrifice them for your other pieces... Tactical Retreat is an odd choice too, but I think it could be fun to play (though I think the card is a bit overcosted : it shouldn't be gold). If you're looking for efficiency, though, I'd say Point Blank (for your Bear Kapitan) is a better choice (but then, you'd have to keep Noble sacrifice to protect him until he deals his insane damage at close range !). By the way, you only have one bronze order token : that doesn't take advantage of the VR Kapitan ability to change bronze orders into silver ones... You could exchange one of your silver orders with a VR sergeant, and turn either of your Bronze troopers to an order token...

Still, your list would be interesting to play as is, IMHO.

I would prefer, to put a 2nd Venusian Ranger insteat of a Bear Trooper in this list. I´m not sure, how useful bear troopers are.

The venusian rangers are awesome, but the Bear's ability to essential "pin" a unit down has not been helpful for you?

The other army will definitely be Algeroth. I figure he can Subdual the necromutants to waste their orders (the penalty is pretty stiff) and use Tactical Retreat if they get swarmed. Fall back and unload again.

Great feedback so far, however. keep it coming. I'm having fun doing this instead of cleaning my flat a bit.

p.s. Noble Sacrifice has been removed for sure.

I prefer to take the enemy down with lots of dice from far distance. The Venusian Rangers "Burst Fire" is maybe not so effective in smal skirmish games, but it keeps the algeroth troops out of close formation.

Two green dice are also better than one. With "Heavy Artillery" you can use the Venusian Ranger for a heavy attack over far distance (better chance of a high accuracy with two green dice).

Maybe the Bear Trooper is okay for a good demo game, and the Venusian Ranger is better for a tournament format game.

I´m not sure, how effective the Bear Troopers really is. The Bear Kapitan is great, the Bear Sergeant alright. But the Trooper? Maybe one or two of them in large scale battles as a specialist, to keep close combat attackers away. But i belive in more firepower.

Enclosed is my final list. Thanks for the feedback everyone. Even if it is not as potent as the Algeroth list, I'm sure we will have a blast.

You could keep the Bear Trooper, IMHO. Like Dominik said, VR troopers (???) would be better for a tournament game, but I think the Bear trooper will be funnier for a demo game.

Taking Superior Tech instead of Tactical Retreat could also be an option, most especially if you take the Bear Trooper... Then you could give Subdue to the Bear Kapitan, or give the Vulkan's battlesuit Pummel to the VR kapitan (comboes well with burst fire)... That would open a lot of fun possibilities, which could be great in a demo...

And I hope your Algeroth list have something to deal with the Vulkan... It's a very annoying opponent for this faction...
