I know this has been asked before, but I haven't found an answer to this by using the forum search:

Is it a valid move for the OL to use the Transport Gem at the start of his week, moving a Lieutenant to a city and then immediately use the Lieutenant to put a siege token on this city?

I always thought that the Gem "replaces" the movement of the Lieutenant, but we couldn't find anything like that in the text.

(Note: might also be a translation problem...)

RAW it is a legal move.

It will be clarified in the upcoming FAQ.
