Are skaven part of Edge of Night? I'm considering using them as the characters' next foe, have... pretty much everything except Edge of Night and was wondering if there was more stuff and bits for them in that.

Yes, the Edge of Night does have Skaven, including a Grey Seer and some Skaven spells. However, though it absolutely has some good information, it's far short of a Skaven-based adventure, and they don't go too far into it.

If you're thinking about using the Skaven as villains, you should absolutely get Children of the Horned Rat for 2E!

In addition to the 2nd edition books the Warhammer Fantasy Battle army booklets are also good for information/timelines/fluff/etc.
