Might of Heroes (Blood Angel Power)

By nethru, in Deathwatch Rules Questions

When a BA Librarian activates this power and gains the strength does it get affected by his unnatural strength?

Example:

Player has 45 Str with PR3 so Might of Heroes will give +15 making it 60. Normally his strength bonus is 8 with unnatural str. Will the +15 from the power make it 12 or will it only be 10 (8 +2 from bonus) sort of like how the power armour affects the strength bonus?

Hi, fellow BA Librarian here. Adding always comes after multiplication, same with the PA +20 bonus. Beware though that as per the rules, you need to expend a half action each turn to sustain the power and that precludes you then from attacking with two weapons or using swift attack and all that fancy stuff. They might an exception for Wings of Sanguinius after I inquired about it, a request for general clarification for psy powers was left unanswered. serio.gif

Wow that kind of stinks especially if you can only use 1/2 actions if you sustain it...

I may make it so it adds to natural strength if you can only do 1/2 actions to make it a bit more fair for the player.

Thanks.

The good news is that you only need one attack with a force weapon (with which you can channel energy only once per round anyway).
