Exceptional cybernetics gain a bonus/special ability to distinguish them from Common-grade cybernetics, but there doesn't seem to be any such abilities for Master-crafted ones. Was this omitted somewhere, or is a master-crafted bionic supposed to be purely for fluff compared to an exceptional bionic. They do cost an extra 50% relative to Common-grades than do Exceptionals, so it seems odd that they're listed as an option (and a free upgrade for Techmarines) despite literally doing nothing.

I've never quite understood the lack of bonuses for master craftsmanship (or Best craftsmanship in DH/RT parlance) bionics/cybernetics. I suggest you do what I did and create the bonuses for master craftsmaship bionics/cybernetics. I originally posted master craftsmanship bonuses for the bionics in the Dark Heresy rulebook here . You'll note that I gave a 50% critical hit negation chance as the DH versions don't get it by default.

QUESTIONS:

- You just pay the Req. amount necessary to increase from common to exceptional and then Master? The cost for a heavy bolter would then be 10 + 20 Req.OR 30 + 40 Req.?

- For the Artificier Armour, rank 4 (Hero), I just need to spend the Req. required? I have 70 available, and it costs 60, what should I do with the 10 Req. which is left?
