Fluff Summary for New Players

By jksearles, in WFRP Gamemasters

I've been lurking around here for a while as I plan to finally start my campaign at the end of the month.

I've done some searching around and I remember someone saying something about a 1 page handout for players new to the Warhammer Fantasy universe but I can't find it for the life of me.

Does anyone have such a document or know where I can find one?

Thanks!

Don't know about it though I certainly would like to! If your players are former D&Ders my blog could help them also.

This isn't exactly what you're after, but someone has put together a gazeteer of the Empire. It's about 8 pages long, and takes each province in turn, stating its main cities, notable customs, trades and goods produced there and some common sayings that sum things up.

Not exactly for introducing players to the setting, but if someone is keen, and already knows a little about the setting, then it's a good way of getting them much more familiar with the different parts of the Empire.

Where could I find this?

****, I was hoping someone else would answer this...

I can't remember.

It's called 'Provincial Features of the Empire'. It is possibly available for download from Gitzman's Gallery. Try a search for those terms... I suspect I found it by following a link provided by the guy that created it, but I know I've downloaded stuff from Gitzman in the past.

(And I recommend you do this anyway, as there are some very useful summary guides there.)

I'm familiar with Gitzman's site (and it is a great resource) but that's not a document there...

Sorry... I did check my printed copy, but there's nothing there saying who it's by.

If you post your email address I can email you a PDF copy.
