Three New Careers

By limelight, in WFRP House Rules

Thought I'd share 3 new careers that I'm offering my players. These are based on requests from my group and myself to help add to the career list.

Cat Burglar: advanced, urban, specialist, rogue

Strength Agility

Skills: Athletics, Coordination, Stealth, Skulduggery, Intuition or Observation

2 Conservative/ 2 Reckless

Advances: 1 Action, 3 Talent, 3 Skill, 2 Fortune, 1 Wound

Talents: 1x Tactic, 1x Reputation, 1x Focus

Career Ability: Once per session re-roll 1 Skulduggery, Athletics, or Coordination roll

This career is the "high wire" thief, climbing, balancing, etc...

Journeyman Mage : advanced, specialist, wizard, academic

Advanced Career: Special You must have completed the Acolyte career and complete before entering the Wizard career . In addition, the mage must perform a significant act to aid his order or the people of the empire

INT/ Fellowship

Skills: Folklore, Education, Nature Lore or First Aid, Magical Sight

Stances: Same as your order

Advances: 1 Action, 2 talents, 4 Skills, 1 fortune, 2 wounds

talents: 1x focus 1x Reputation + order

career ability: A journeyman mage may add an expertise die instead of a fortune die when spending fortune points on magical sight rolls. A journeyman mage may not acquire new spell actions

This career came about to make the transition between acolyte and wizard. The advancement was going too fast to justify such a jump from acolyte to wizard so I created this wandering wizard that must seek out a mission to benefit the college he/she serves

Warrior Priest: Advanced career

Intermediate, devoted, religion, combat

Special: you must have completed the initiate career

Str/ WP

Skills: weapon skill, Leadership, Intuition, Intimidate

Stances: same as faith

Advances: 2 actions, 1 talent, 2 skill, 1 fortune, 1 reckless, 1 conservative, 2 wounds

talents: 1x Reputation, 1x tactic, + faith

Ability: you may spend favour to add +1 damage to your melee attacks

The priest fighter...

Enjoy!

cat burglar and journeyman mage seem like they should be intermediate trait.

jh

yeah I agree that they should be intermediate...good call. Anything else you think I should change? I'm not really happy with the career ability for the Journeyman Mage
