I'm toying with a campaign, with itz and bitz stolen from various threads etc...
The main plot was surposed to revolve around Nurgle, but then I saw this thread: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=165&efcid=3&efidt=429327
And then agreed to myself that Tzeentch were be the mastermind behind the plot... because afterall, everyone (including the other gods) are pawns of him
Okay... the theme of the group is the brothers returning home to their fathers funeral, after being seperated for several years.
Main plot (ripped from above thread...) is that a Chaos Sorcerer is making Bretonnian gold coins with either lead or warpstone cores (don't give me a lecture on wether it can be done or not...). He wants to destabilize the relations between Bretonnia and Empire, and in turn reap the benefits from him owning a large merchant house in Marienburg (hoping Witch' Song takes the campaign near there...).
He's got a corrupt dwarf to help him mine the warpstone, and supply gold/lead, near Hugendal (can't remember correct name...). Using an associate (who's not a cultist), he's using Jungfreund family to spread the coins through Ubersreik. Jungfreunds has no clue of the warpstone, but wants to destabilize Ubersreik, so he can march in to save the day...
Okay... down the road, my problem lies in getting the players to Ubersreik (fairly easy), grab EfaE plot (harder), and finally start investigating the main plot (can save for later).
I have their father involved in the whole thing, since he's acted as courier for the warpstone (not knowing what he transported). So thought they would be faced with a closed coffin... and when pushing to see their father, they'd see his leg was made of blue pudding. Asking around, they'd discover their father acted as courier for someone in Ubersreik...
Okay... in Ubersreik... part of the plot was that Jungfreund would send the gold into Ubersreik, by buying assets (through strawmen) in Ubersreik, and sell them again (with a loss)... yeah... cheesy... and one asset would be Grunewald cottage.
Anyway, I'm certain my players will try hard to find out who used their father as courier in Ubersreik, so why would they take the job from Lord Aschaffenberg???
In Grunewald, I'll have clues to the main plot, so after that I should be home free
