Page 32 it is indicated that Personal Demeanour must be chosen on table 1-10.
The table 1-10 is named "example demeanours" so I suppose that a player is not limited by those 10 demeanours ?

Correct they are merely examples. A character is allowed to make up their own personal Demeanour as long as he and the GM are in agreement about how the custom demeanour will work. The player-character Ultramarine Apothecary (Brother Octavius) in my group has the custom demeanour "Idealistic." He is protective of all "loyal" servants of the Emperor, even if they be lowly normal humans. He believes in the tradition of the Ultramarines building up Ultramar and wishes that that idealistic society could be enjoyed by the whole of the Imperium.
