Double Team & Outnumbering

By Macragge, in Deathwatch Rules Questions

When you outnumber an opponent 2:1 and both Space Marines have the Double Team talent, is the total "to hit" bonus (barring any other bonuses) +20 or +30 for each marine? From my understanding of the Double Team talent description, each marine would get +10 each from outnumbering the opponent and +20 each because each marine involved has the double team talent. This would result in each marine have a total of +30 in bonuses in the example. Is this accurate?

As Alex said, you are correct.

Some points to consider and remain aware of, though;

  • Combat Master negates the bonuses attackers receive for outnumbering an opponent.
  • Orks with the More fer Me talent ( RT: Into the Storm page 65) will get the same bonus as their attackers when they are outnumbered; even if said Ork has Combat Master.

Hope that also helps you some.
