Q: About Seeking Hidden Units (sorry if repeated)

By Budsky, in Anima: Tactics

Hey guys, I've searched the board and I couldn't find an answer. So, in the rulebook it states that seeking out Hidden units is a 7+, modified by cover. The next line says that *seeking Prowlers* lower the difficulty by one. Now I'm sure it was meant that Prowlers who are seeking a Hidden unit lower the difficulty because they are stealth experts...? Of course, it would have made more sense to me that anyone trying to seek a Prowler should have the difficulty raised by one. I don't see how being an expert at hiding makes it easier to spot someone else who is hiding but oh well.... happy.gif Thoughts anyone?

Yes you are right in the terms of rules.

In AT only prowlers have stealth stealth ability. On top of that prowlers are usually characters that focus more on tactics, seeking out smart ways to defeat the oposition, outing skills and technique above strenght, that way during battle they are more alert, seeking unexpected dangers than warriors who focus on the enemy up ahead or mystics trying to chant spells.
