Apoth's get medicae trained as an advanced skill upon selecting the apothecary specialty, I was wondering if anyone figured out why there is a 400 point medicae skill on apothecary rank 1 advances.
Is this a typo or does the apoth need to spend 400 to get the basic training or what?

You might want to check the 'Duplicated Skills and Talents' section, p. 59. Short answer: you can ignore this advance entry in the apothecary table until some future expansion allowing alternate apothecary starting packages.
