Horde magnitude size bonus

By j-tech2, in Deathwatch Rules Questions

Don't have my book in front of me at the moment, but I recall some confusion over the magnitude bonuses. In particular, I recall that the Table that handles the examples starts at +30 for Magnitude 30(?) Hordes, and extends upwards.

Funnily enough, it does not show bonuses for smaller Hordes. Am I to extrapolate that Magnitude 20 Hordes would be +20 to hit?

it does mention it somewhere the magnitude determines size, and huge gives +30 or something.

As it's faffy I just give a bonus equal to the magnitude. makes things easy

mathematically, the horde size increasing by 30 grants another +10 according to the table but that breaks down at under 30. i'm planning on using +15 for hordes between 15 and 29. if you want to use the same formulat that they use, it's y=0.3333x+20 (with x= horde magnitude and y=bonus to hit). once they get under 15, they're not much of a horde so i just went with the simple number calc instead of the formula. :)
