Hi. could you clarify for me what starting skills should be. For example on the character sheet Dodge only has one box ticked ( basic) but elsewhere in the book it says all starting skills should be at trained.

This seems the be the case with several skills.

pg.36 lists the starting Skills and Talents all Marines begin with. Also, here is detailed information on the implants and abilities of their super-physiques.

pg.18 lists the starting gear that Marines begin with. There is the standard loadout that all Marines begin with, as well as their kit as denoted by their specialization.

Wow, thanks for mentioning that. It looks like all characters get Dodge, Intimidate, and Deathwatch Training to start, and none of those are listed on the character sheet online. I was about to waste 300 XP.
