WHF07 The Edge of Night -- card & component list (unofficial)

By trystero, in WFRP Gamemasters

The Card & Component List PDF available on the Support page doesn't include WHF07 The Edge of Night. I couldn't find any source which listed the card counts and types and names for this adventure, and I thought it might be useful for GMs to have an unofficial listing of the gubbins from the set until the official document is updated.

I can't post a real link, nor will the forum software allow me to paste my text-format list in here, so this will have to suffice:

javascript:void(0);/*1285809913518*/

Please note that this list, much like the official one for WHF04 The Gathering Storm, will spoil some elements of the adventure; players should not read it. (Which is one reason I posted it in the "Gamemasters" forum.)

Again, this is completely unofficial; I do hope it's helpful, though.

Update: the official list has now been updated to include The Edge of Night...

javascript:void(0);/*1287332288872*/

...so I've taken my own list down.

Interesting...thanks a lot!

Quick question: size apart (wich i presume being the same) is the ubersreik map crappy like the stromdorf's one??

I also have a question: what are those NPC cards? Do they contain full NPC stats and abilities, like a taste of what's to come in the Creature Vault? That would be really cool.

to me the npc cards are not much use there are no stats. it just the name what thay are 'captin of gard""noble" and such, and what castume thay are waring at the ball. it trys to help with keeping track of wr the npc's are. i didnt use them

Part of the adventure includes a very complex social encounter, in which different factions (including the PCs) are interacting with a multitude of NPCs and trying to convince them to join one side or dissuade them from helping another. The NPC cards are really just small tokens with a name on them, used to keep track of who has sided with which faction, who is still neutral etc. They're potentially helpful for both the GM and the players (it helps the players remember everyone who is there).

I've now been trumped: the official Card and Component List update of 1 October 2010 includes the bits from The Edge of Night...

Please FFG, can you upload the maps of "the edge of night" to your Homepage, as you did for "gathering storm".

I tried to photocopy it and then scale the maps up, but it didn't work. The maps look awful.

So please FFG, begging from germany, give us the high Quality maps of "the edge of night".
