Interesting software for planet drawing

By mart_in_brasil, in Fan Art

I have just come across this plug-in for PaintShop

www.flamingpear.com/lunarcell.html

It produces 'random' planetscapes which are perfect for backgrounds and maybe at the top of dataplaque handouts to players.

Google for lunarcell images for examples.

Looks good!

I find Cosmographer Pro for Profantasy's Campaign Cartographer does great for making systems for adventures.

And Cosmographer 3 is suppose to be released soon which adds even more functionality and tools for CC3.

Give it a look at Profantasy's website

Good hint thanks.

I took a look ... the Fractal Terrains product appears to be the same idea.

Actually a little better since you can tweak the resulting planetscape.

But it does not show a spherical view :(

Fractals Terrains is standalone, it does not need CC2 or CC3

That's a seriously cool and useful filter (having just tried the demo), works equally well in Photoshop I'm glad to see. Thanks for the link.
