New Location Cards (Oldenhaller Contract)

By W1nterKn1ght, in WFRP House Rules

Hi,

I made some more Location Cards. Inspired by the Oldenhaller contract. That is a adventure I can play by heart. I played it with almost every group I played. The Locations I made are:

  • The Alley (ambush)
  • the rooftop chase(my favorite)
  • Oldenhallers House
  • the sewer (though this might be Bögenhafen)
  • the Hideouts ( i used one location for both)
  • the passageway (with the rat attack)
  • the glorious cart
  • and the beach area.

Get it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3415364/Oldenhaller.pdf

Also I changed the typos in the other ones. (see: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=166&efcid=3&efidt=356234 ) I hopefully got all of them. I also changed the flav text and some game text, so they are all new.

Get 'em while hot: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3415364/LocationDeck.pdf

The files are hostet on my public dropbox account, you don't have to need an dropbox account to Download them.

Have fun WK

P.S.if you like the location cards and the dropbox idea, you might accept an inventation to from my dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTM0MTUzNjQ5 Dropbox is a Web-based file hosting service which uses cloud computing to enable users to store and share files and folders with others across the Internet using file synchronization. Advanage for you: you start with free 2.25 GB instead of 2.0 GB. My Advantage is I get an additional .25 GB for my account for each succesfull inventation. But be carefull I'll get to see your E-Mail adress and the name you use, if you accept the invitation. And again you don't need to create an account to download! And you can set up a dropbox yccount without the inventation under www.dropbox.com!

Please leave me an not how you liked them, that'll be nice - even if you dislike them.

Greets WK

more typos (and a few suggestions for better fitting words - I marked all changes with bold text, but I fear the difference is pretty hard to see):

Alley

  • This unlit all e y…
  • double handed melee weapons
  • All observation check s
  • All stealth rolls

Nice Inn

  • a nice and comfort able inn.

Market

  • A lively market with doze ns of stalls.
  • GM decision for
  • useless item that is way too expensive

Tannery

  • out of the tannery is almost overwhelming your senses .
  • a n E asy Resilience check
  • Within tannery add ** to all test s

Palisade

  • beastmen, greenskins, or a pack of wolves .

The Ober sl echt

  • mora ss
  • Trunks of stunted trees clutter the landscape. All is damp and the ground is unreliable.
  • to all test s while in the Oberslecht .
  • Once per session, r ural career character s

Town Gate

  • The weakest but guarded point of entrance to the town.

Watchtower

  • made to overlook and defend the area.
  • [i totally do not get the reference about princes and mutants – maybe you should just it?]
  • all observation checks
  • made against characters

Thanks a lot for the cards – they are a very nice & welcome resource!

Hi ozean,

thanks for the corrections, I'll change 'em right away. Sorry I didn't have time on my hands before.

I put them offline while I am correcting and I'll post em again, when these errors are corrected.

Thank you again

Winter

Seems the links are dead ?

Oh just noticed you're editing the files. How's that coming along ? :P

Hi, I am new to WFRP3 (but GMed the 1st ed some 20 years ago). I wanted to find the Oldenhaller Contract scenario adapted to the 3rd ed, but can only find it for the 1st or 2nd ed. Since you created the locations card, I was wondering whether you had the scenario adapted for the 3rd?

Thanks

Any updates to this story ?
